Professor Samuel Olufemi Adebule

Professor Samuel OlufemiAdebulewas born in Aisegba Ekiti in Gbonyin Local Government Area of Ekiti State on October 10th,1958. He had his Primary School Education at Holy Trinity Anglican Primary School, Aisegba Ekiti from 1964 to 1970. He had his Secondary School Education at Ado Grammar School (AGS), Ado Ekiti from 1971 to 1975. Adebule also attended Divisional Teacher Training College, Oye Ekiti for a year progrmme Grade II Certificate in 1977/1978 academic session, Ondo State College of Education Ikere-Ekiti from 1979 to 1982 where he obtained his Nigeria Certificate in Education (Mathematics and Economics). He proceeded to University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he had his first degree in Mathematics Education in 1991. He later attended the then Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti and University of Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria where he obtained his Master Degree and Ph.D in Tests and Measurement in 1995 and 2002 respectively. Venerable Professor Adebule also attended the Archbishop Vining College of Theology for his Diploma in Theology in 2019 & 2020
He worked with the OndoState Teaching Service Commission, Ondo and Ekiti States Local Government Service Commissions for about 22 years before joining the services of Ekiti State University in 2005 as a Lecturer II. He has since risen to the position of a Professor in 2017 and served the University in various capacities as

He has attended conferences both locally and internationally and has above 60 publications ( books and articles) in both local and international journals. He is a member of many reputable professional Associations.
Venerable Professor Samuel Olufemi Adebule was a Senior Deacon and Evangelist in many White Garment and Pentecostal Churches before becoming an Evangelist in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Aisegba Ekiti in 2005 during the burial of his late mother, Chief Mrs Christianah Olufunke AdebuleIya Egbe Isokan and was Ordained Deacon by The Most Rev’d Dr S.A Abe, Archbishop of Ondo Province and Bishop of Ekiti Anglican Diocese in 2008 at All Saints Church, Iyin Ekiti and was retained at Holy Trinity, Aisegba Ekiti as a Curate.
He was Ordained a Priest at the Cathedral Church of Emmanuel, Okesa, Ado Ekiti in 2010 and was immediately posted to All Saints Church Iyin Ekiti as a Curate.
On 28th December 2010, he was transferred to Church of The Resurrection, Anglican Communion, Moferere, Ado Ekiti as a Vicar. In August, 2017, he was Installed a Canon of the Cathedral by The Most Rev’d Dr. C. T Omotunde, Archbishop of Ondo Province and Bishop of Ekiti Anglican Diocese. Adebule was Preferred and Collated as Archdeacon in November 2021 and retained as Vicar, Church of The Resurrection (Anglican Communion), Moferere, Ado-Ekiti until his transfer to St James’ The Evangelist Anglican Church Secretariat/ Bank Road, Ado-Ekiti on 28th December, 2022 after serving 12 years.
He has visited the State of Israel, Palestine, Egypt and Turkey on Holy Pilgrimage, Dublin in Ireland, Frankfort in Germany, Abu Dhabi in UAE, USA and West African Countries.
He was on Sabbatical at the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana, 2017-2018 and served as External Assessor and Examiner to many Universities in Nigeria and Ghana.
Venerable Professor FemiAdebule was the Pioneer Acting Head of Department, Tests, Measurement and Evaluation, Faculty of Education, Ekiti StateUniversity and the current Director, Institute of Education, EKSU, Ado-Ekiti.
Venerable Professor Adebule is married to his sweet heart,Dr (Mrs) Helen TayoAdebule ( nee Olaseeni of Ilado Street, Ode Ekiti), a Chartered Accountant and an Expert in Educational Management. Helen is also a Chief Accountant with Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission and currently Head of Internal Audit, Ado Ekiti Local Government and the marriage is blessed with good and God fearing Children.
